maui-hawaii:

There’s a million things to do once you arrive on Maui, but there are only a handful that you MUST DO!!!  Driving the Road to Hana is one of those things.  You can do it in various ways: van tour, explore on your own, or explore guided by your own Hana CD.  our favorite way to do it is to drive a jeep with the top down while listening to a guided CD.

Our favorite CD is Experiencing the Road to Hana and Beyond! Our reason for choosing this cd over others is that it offers the full Hana experience.  With R2H, you’ll be guided to the best spots and will find the romance and adventure you’re looking for.  You also get driving tips and a custom foldout map showing the best spots to stop along the way.

“We sat one morning in the apartment in north Kihei and thought about what we could check out on the island. So I googled around a bit of things to do on Maui. I found ther2h.com website and had a look around, checked out the movies and pictures and it just looked awesome. It didn’t take long until we decided that this was something we had to check out during our visit…”

Behind the Scenes Composing the Road to Hana Audio Travel Guide

One of the greatest moments during the process of creating our Road to Hana CD (and we had many) was working with David Das, who composed a musical masterpiece specifically for our product. He created the theme music for our guide, which features the epic sounds of a full orchestra (think Jurassic Park) and has much to do with what separates us from the competition! You can read about how he created this epic soundtrack and listen to the music here.

David is very successful at what he does and the R2H Team is so grateful to have the musical portion of our product composed by him. He has composed many other great works, including scores for Hollywood trailers and films, several commercials, and two arrangements broadcast on NBC’s recent popular show “The Sing-Off.” His clients include 20th Century Fox, Coca Cola, Delta Airlines, and Disney

Big thanks to David Das for his hard work on our project! It is truly fascinating. Check it out!

Today, we spent time with our new friends, Ed and Keri Stewart at Anthony’s Coffee Co. in Paia. We also did something a little peculiar today to promote the product. We gave away our CDs to everyone we met in Paia that was headed out to the Road to Hana!

Special thanks to Keri for opening up her store to us and for carrying our new product in her store! If you are looking for a wonderful breakfast or a picnic lunch, check them out online at http://www.anthonyscoffee.com. They are in the heart of Paia town on the right just as you enter the shopping area.

The Road to Hana - Testimonies from the R2H

This is the REAL Hawaii!

“Our journey to Hana was simply amazing. If other guides are the book version, then the Road to Hana guide is the Oscar-winning-movie! The CD brought our adventure to life with epic music and an awesome storyteller. We quickly discovered the east side of Maui, specifically the Road to Hana, to be one of the most breathtaking places we’ve ever been. The route weaves you in and out of an intricate blend of lush rain-forests, romantic beaches, breath-taking waterfalls, and relentless views. Because of the guide, we were able to experience everything without being tied down to a tourist group but still get step by step details on where to stop, what to expect, and the history behind each location - and best of all, drive it at our own pace. Thanks to the R2H guide, we saw the Hawaii that we had always dreamed of and made memories on our trip that we will never forget. The Road to Hana is definitely an experience that you have to do yourself to understand and embrace, and all we can say is go do it! Now, every time we hear someone say Hawaii - our minds go right back to Hana.” Brad + Natalie, TN - see photo.
